A Tribute To My Friend

Dear Rex:

I remember fourteen years ago when you were just a baby, all fresh and new.

You looked so cute next to my Jawbitch, even though you wanted to eat my other pets.

Then my kids came along and took our attention away from you.

But as they grew older, they liked to play with you.

They would feed you, and give you water and take care of you.

And you would sing to them and nip at their fingers poking in your cage.

Goodbye my fine feathered friend.

I'll miss you.

Dubya Writes Back

A while ago, Little G wrote the Prez. She called me up, so excited, that she got a letter and a photograph back from the White House. I'm quite sure the FBI opened a file on her.

More Coming Soon

Hi G-Man,

I wanted to keep you up to date on my efforts to obtain scholarship and financial aid information regarding University policies.

As I indicated to you recently, the Dean will be putting information for you to review.

I followed up with the Dean earlier today and have been informed that the Dean has been called away on a family emergency. I will be following up with him to obtain the information you requested.

However, I wanted you to be aware of the slight delay.

I appreciate your understanding and patience.

I hope things are going well for you, and that the holiday season has been a good one for you and your family.

Warm regards,

The Director

I'm Not Holding My Breath

Hi G-Man,

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

I wanted to let you know that I saw the Dean earlier this week. He will provide me with some written policies shortly, which I will pass on to you for you to review.

Best wishes,

This Is Sad, But Aunt Nanny Would Love It

I took this quiz from Grandmaster Flasher's site, What Modern Presidents are you Most Like?

Here's the Result:

You Are Most Like Bill Clinton

No doubt, your legacy may be a little seedier than you'd like.
But even though you've done some questionable things, you're still loved by almost all.

G-Man Requires Documentary Evidence

Dear Director,

I leave my house at 7:10 a.m., and return between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. (or later if things are really crazy). As an attorney, I must track and bill all of my time. It would be best for me if he could send me a document, perhaps a written policy, that I could read while commuting.

Regards,

G-Man

The Alma Mater Tries to Fight Back

Director: I have been in contact with the Dean, who feels a phone conversation would be the best way to follow up to address your concerns and questions.

Are there specific times during the day that would work best for you? If so, I will provide the Dean with this information and will try to arrange a mutually convenient time for the two of you to speak.

Thanks, and have a great weekend.
